Production & Operations Manager — Food Technologist
Full-time | Bengaluru | In-office
We're looking for a Food Technologist who can take ownership of our production and operations — from product development to the final pack leaving our facility.
This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving team, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable solving problems, managing multiple responsibilities and getting things done without waiting for a separate team to handle each task.
What you'll do
- Lead new product development from concept through commercial launch.
- Improve existing products across taste, texture, shelf life and nutrition.
- Manage end-to-end production, from raw materials to final packaging.
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency and food safety.
- Optimise production processes, reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Manage raw materials, inventory, vendors and production planning.
- Lead and train a small production team.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP and applicable food safety standards.
- Oversee order fulfilment and day-to-day operational requirements.
- Work closely with R&D, sales and marketing on launches and business requirements.
- Identify problems and take ownership of finding practical solutions.
What we're looking for
- Food Technology / Food Science background.
- Experience in food production, R&D or food operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on startup environment.
- Ability to manage people as well as processes.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to wear multiple hats.
Working hours: Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Social Media Intern

We're looking for a creative, internet-savvy person who loves food, content and social media.
You'll work closely with the Plant Yum team to create content, manage social media and help us tell the Plant Yum story.
You'll be involved in
- Creating and assisting with Instagram content.
- Reels, stories, posts and other social media formats.
- Content ideation and trend research.
- Shooting and coordinating simple food/content shoots.
- Community engagement.
- Tracking what's working and helping improve our content.
We're looking for someone who is
- Creative and full of ideas.
- Comfortable with Instagram and short-form content.
- Good at writing and communicating.
- Proactive and willing to learn.
- Passionate about food and/or sustainability.

B2B / HORECA Sales - Part Time
Part-time | Bengaluru
We're looking for a driven sales person to help Plant Yum expand into restaurants, cafés, hotels, caterers and other HORECA customers.
You'll be responsible for
- Identifying and approaching potential B2B/HORECA customers.
- Introducing Plant Yum products to restaurants, cafés and other businesses.
- Generating leads and managing the sales pipeline.
- Coordinating samples, trials and follow-ups.
- Building strong relationships with customers.
- Converting opportunities into recurring orders.
- Sharing market feedback and customer insights with the team.
We're looking for someone who is
- Confident and comfortable speaking to businesses.
- Good at building relationships.
- Persistent and target-oriented.
- Able to work independently.
- Experienced in B2B, HORECA, FMCG or food sales is a plus.
